Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a team of social workers, providing mentorship, professional development, and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
Develop and implement strategies, policies, and practices that enhance the effectiveness and impact of social work services within the educational setting.
Collaborate with school staff, families, and external agencies to create integrated support systems for students facing social, emotional, and environmental challenges.
Conduct assessments, provide counseling, and facilitate interventions and referrals as needed to support the holistic well-being of students.
Advocate for the needs of students and families within the school system and the wider community, promoting access to resources and services.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution and a current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the District of Columbia.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a social work setting.
Exceptional leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and develop a team of professionals.
