Job Summary:
The Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant at The Allicock Group supports the delivery of speech and language therapy services under the supervision of licensed speech-language pathologists. This role involves assisting with assessments, implementing therapy plans, and providing valuable support to clients.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Assist in conducting assessments and screenings to identify speech and language disorders.
Support speech-language pathologists in implementing therapy sessions and interventions.
Work with clients on targeted speech and language exercises and activities.
Document clients' progress and responses to therapy.
Collaborate with speech-language pathologists to modify therapy plans based on client needs.
Help clients and families practice recommended exercises and strategies.
Maintain a safe and positive therapy environment.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree or certification in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance.
Knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively.
Compassionate and patient-oriented approach.
Dedication to supporting clients' progress and well-being.
